MU OET stands for Manipal University Online Entrance Test. Manipal University is a well known university in India. It offers wide range of courses including Medical, Engineering, Pharmacy, and many more.

Every year Manipal University conducts MU OET Medical (Manipal University - Medical Entrance Test) for sole purpose of admissions in health science courses such as MBBS and BDS.



Manipal University has started accepting applications for MU OET Medical 2016. The application form filling started on 20th of October 2015 it self.

MU OET 2016 entrance exam will be conducted in Online mode. The exam will be conducted across the nation from 14th of April 2016 to 18th of May 2016.

MU OET 2016: Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates who are willing to take appear for Manipal medical entrance exam must be at least 17 years old in age. 
• The applicant must have passed 12^th exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as a language paper 
• A minimum 55% of total score in PCB is Eligibility Criteria for appearing MU OET Medical 2016.

MU OET Medical 2016: Exam pattern

• The entrance examination for MBBS and BDS course shall be conducted by Manipal University on the scheduled exam slot date booked by the candidate.
• MUOET Medical 2016 entrance test will be conducted online at the designated examination centres. Candidates aspiring for MBBS and BDS courses have to score a minimum of 50% marks in the MU OET Medical 2016 for being eligible for the admissions.
• There will be no negative markings!
• Paper comprises of objective type Multiple choice questions on the sujects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English & Aptitude.
• Total 200 questions will be asked.
• Physics – 50; Chemistry – 50; Biology – 70; English & General Aptitude - 30.
• The total time duration will be Two and a half hours.

MU OET Medical 2016: Admit Card

• Applicants of MU OET MBBS/BDS 2016 can download e-hall ticket (admit card) after they have booked their schedule through the online test booking system. 
• The e-hall ticket will indicate the e-hall ticket number, course/s applied, address of the test centre, test date and time selected by the candidate
• Students are advised to preserve the MU OET Admit card carefully.
