1. Onine (Comnputer Based test)

• Paper of SRMJEEE 2016 will be of 2.5 hours (2 hours 30 mins)
• Paper will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• It will have total four sections/parts and 140 questions. (35 marks per section)

Type of Exam

• Exam 1 -- for Engineering  Courses.
• Both Online as well as Offline (paper-pen based)

Time Duration

• The Joint Entrance Exam will last for 3 hours.

Exam Medium

• Candidates can write / appear JEE Main 2016 in English OR Hindi.
• Candidates from Gujarat state are allowed to appear the exam in Gujarati Medium.

JEE Main 2016 Engineering Exam Pattern

• The CBT will be covering questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with equal weightage to all subjects.
• The JEE Main 2016 Question Paper will consist of three parts with equal weightage to all the three subjects.
• The candidates will have to opt for the correct response for each question out of four responses given.
• The exam will be for 3 hours in duration.
• Each question will be allotted 4 marks.
• Every wrong answer will result in deduction of one mark due to negative marking of ¼ (one fourth) of the total marks
• No marks will be deducted for no answer / blank response.
• Facilitation Centres (in cities where the online exam will be conducted) will be operational in March 2016 to aid hands on practice for students who wish to familiarize themselves with the online Exam pattern.
• The list of the facilitation Centres will be announced in March 2016 by CBSE.

• The exam will be of 3 hours duration
• 30 questions from each subject namely Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be asked making the total number of questions to be 90.
• The JEE Main 2016 Question Paper will be of multiple choices with one correct answer from a choice of four answers for each question.
• All subjects carry equal weightage with each question carrying 4 marks for a correct answer.
• Every wrong answer will result in deduction of one mark due to negative marking of ¼ (one fourth) of the total marks
• No marks will be deducted for no answer

JEE Main 2016 - Architecture Exam Pattern

The JEE Main 2016 Exam 2 will be for the admissions to the Architecture/Planning courses.
The Exam will consist of Objective type of questions.

The JEE Main 2016 Architecture / Planning Exam will consist of three parts:

• Part I - Mathematics
• Part II - Aptitude Test 
• Part III - Drawing Test

Note: Candidates have to bring their own geometry box set, pencils, erasers and colour pencils or crayons. A card board or a clip board is also advisable.

The AMU MBBS / BDS Paper pattern is given below:

• The AMU Medical 2016 Exam will have one question booklet.
• The paper will contain questions from four subjects.
• The subjects will be namely Physics, chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
• Each subject will have 50 questions.
• All questions will be objective type MCQ questions.
• The paper shall be consisting of total 200 questions.
• The total exam duration will be of 3 hours without break.
• The exam will be Only pen-paper based.
• There will be No negative marking scheme
• One marks will be awarded for every correct response and no marks will be deducted for incorrect ones.

Sections in the UP CPMT paper:

There are four subjects, which can be divided into two sections.
Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Biology.

Physics and Chemistry (100 questions)

This section will test your physics knowledge with combination of numerical questions and facts etc. The Chemistry part will test your knowledge of all basic topics also including the important aspects related to the subject like reaction, reason for a particular reaction etc.

11th Class physics and chemistry are also important, do not underestimate their importance in UP CPMT 2016.

Zoology and Botany (100 questions)

This section will have questions like animal kingdom and plant kingdom, these types of questions have more weighage, but biology being a vast subject, it's syllabus is always too much for every student, and most of them can't cram the subject, they are advised to focus on the topics which are most likely to be asked by a paper setter.

Total Number of question: 200 questions, all questions will be of Objective Type.

NATA 2016 Eligibility Criteria

• A Candidate who wishes to appear for NATA 2016 must have passed SSC or its equivalent exam to be eligible for NATA 2016 but that doesn't make them eligible for admission in B.Arch courses.
• A Candidate must have passed SSC and HSC, or equivalent exam with minimum of 50% marks.
• Mathematics must be the main subject in SSC and HSC.
• Candidates who have passed 10+3 diploma (any stream) from Central/State Government with an aggregate of 50% can also apply for NATA 2016.

There is no limit for number of attempts for NATA. Procedure will be the same for repeat exam.

Eligibility Criteria for AMUEEE 2016

Candidate must have passed Aligarh Muslim University Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination, or equivalent exams with minimum of 50% of marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.

If candidate has a Diploma in Engineering from AMU, with 50% minimum grades are also eligible to apply for AMUEEE.

• The Asso-CET 2015 will consist of one common question paper in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) from class 12th.
• This exams will be consisting of 200 Multiple Choice Question (MCQs).
• 50 in Physics, 50 in Chemistry & 100 in Biology. 
• The candidate is expected to attempt all the 200 questions. 
• Out of four circles / provided for selection of answer against a question, the candidate should fill-up one circle of right choice with black ball pen only.

• All question papers will have 65 questions for 100 marks where 55 questions will be for the subject on hand and Engineering Mathematics if applicable.
• Question Papers with codes - AE, AG, BT, CE, CH, CS, EC, EE, IN, ME, MN, MT, PI, TF and XE will have a section devoted to Engineering Mathematics. • There will be 25 questions for 1 mark each with a total of 25 marks
• There will be 30 questions for 2 marks each with a total of 60 marks
• Questions will be a mix of multiple choice and numerical questions

• This section is common for all candidates appearing for this paper.

• This section will have two separate sections – one for Geology and the second for Geophysics.
