AEEE 2016 stands for Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination. It is a National Level exam conducted by Amrita University for admissions in the engineering courses in its three campuses (Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu).
The exam is conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University, every year in various cities in India. The exam is an entrance test for the first year B.Tech admissions, in its three campus.

Eligibility Criteria
*Highlights*
- The applicant must have passed either 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board.
- Minimum 60% is required to be scored in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) in total.
- Minimum 55% marks are required to be scored in above subjects (PCM) individually.
- If one has a three year diploma in engineering (from any State Board, or technical education) with minimum 60% then he/she is eligible for the exam too.
- The applicant must be born on or after July 1, 1995.
- Those who are appearing for XII or equivalent in March/April 2016 are also eligible for AEEE 2016
Paper Pattern

Each correct answer will be credited with 3 marks, each wrong answer will result in deduction of 1 mark.

- The syllabus for the AEEE 2016 will be based on class XII for Physics, Chemistry, Maths.
- There will be one question paper, containing questions of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Each correct answer will be credited with 3 marks, each wrong answer will result in deduction of 1 mark.

Applying for AEEE 2016
Candidate can apply online, by post, or send a demand draft.- To apply online for AEEE, the candidate will have to fill the application form for AEEE 2016 and then pay the required amount of fees via internet banking.
- To apply by post for AEEE, candidate will have to post a written request which states the candidate's address for communication with a demand draft to the admission co-ordinators of Amrita Schools of Engineerings at Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Amritapuri.
- Candidate can produce a DD from the university counter of Amrita Schools of Engineering (any of three campuses)
- Candidate can apply from sales outlets, by paying Rs. 1,000.
