Paper Pattern of MHT CET 2016

Here's a quick table to understand the paper scheme of MHT CET 2016:

Note: Biology is for Medical aspirants, and Mathematics is for Engineering/Pharmacy.

The Question paper will be available in English, Marathi or Urdu.

For each correct answer, the candidate will get 1 mark and as per Maharastra Government's decision of removing the negative marking last year, there will be no deduction of marks when a wrong/junk answer is encountered.

The qualifying marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together:

General Category 50%
Reserved Category 40%
Person with Disability 40%
Person with Disability from General Category 45%

      You can appear for pharmacy without appearing maths paper too. For pharmacy, one can give either maths or biology paper. By appearing for medical i.e. PCB, you appear for pharmacy too.

    My son was born in Karnataka but studied in Mumbai from Jr KG till now (11th std). Is domicile certificate required for him to take admission in a Engineering college in Mumbai. His father is NRE but I (mother) stay in Mumbai for the last 25 years. Can I apply for his domicile certificate. I heard that father domicile is required for my son to get his domicile. Can the mother apply. please help.

      as per as the official information of 2015 .If u are from a reserved catagory then u have to score atleast 40% (120-130 )out of 300(PCB)
      same for The physical disabilities students..for unreserved catogry..must score above 50-60% (150-160) out of 300(PCB) good luck

    Hello... i have doubt regarding Nagative marking system in MHCET 2016.there is some news leaked from Some famous MHCET Coaching Centre that by year of 2016, Medicle/Engg Aspirants have to face the nagative marking system in MHCET 2016..as like AIPMT &JEE. Is govt.of.Maharashtra is going to remove the "No negative marking system and replacing Nagative marking system" is it true or a prank News..please Inbox me a main regarding This..As soon as possible..😨😨

      It is a hoax. Do not believe in such messages and rumors until an official statement is made.
      Also it is 100% sure that this year, "No Negative marking" scheme will be followed.

      No, you won't be eligible for MHT CET if you're not an active resident of Mahrashtra State and haven't appeared for both class X and XII board exams from an institute situated in Maharashtra.

    i am a kashmiri migrant studying in class 12th from isc board. i have already applied for karnataka common enterance test which is scheduled on 5th of may. now the maharashtra is also conducting its common enterance test on the same day.i want to appear in both the CET`s.     subject group is PCMB (as appeared in 12) but in mh cet it will be taken at same time biolog and physics in 3 hours or it will be taken PCM and PCB
    separate for 3 hours 3 hours respectively.or they will say to choose biology or maths

    I had appearing in 12 th [PCM] in GBSC at Vadodara - GUJARAT. I had already fill the application form of MH CET with center at NANDURBAR & already paid/submit fees for it. But I have doubt about the eligibility OF GUJARAT STUDENT? Whether I can appear in Entrance test schedule on 5/05/16 ??

    I heard that we have to submit the question paper back aft the exam. Actually i have a habit of first marking the ans on the paper and then finalising it (especially for bio)...so I just wanted to ask whether is it allow to do so? since they take our papers back would they mind this thing

    MHT CET 2016 question papers have been uploaded on www.dmer.org. Most probably the answer sheet and OMR sheet will be uploaded on the same website.
