So what are the possible chances I can give mh cet, and if not, can I get into colleges in Mumbai by giving any other exam..!?and which would those exams be?
ReplyDeleteAnyone who wishes to appear MHT CET must present either Domicile Certificate or Birth Certificate issued in Maharashtra State. You should appear AIPMT, it doesn't require explicit proof of domicile. You can take admissions in any part of india with AIPMT.

Deletesir, I am in class 11th I am preparing for mh cet 17-18 can you help me to know about the important topics of mh cet exam and also some study tips plz help me
ReplyDeleteMHT CET is class-12th only. It won't be having too much of syllabus content. Also, the chapter-wise weight-age statistics are mostly misleading.
DeleteThrefore, it will be pretty easier to prepare from the whole book instead of going for the 'important topic' approach.
Sir , does cbse portion covers mh-cet portion ?
ReplyDeleteYes, it does. But it will be best to refer from state level book instead.
Deleteis the date for 2016 mh-cet declared?

Hi Chaitanya,
DeleteTo apply for domicile certificate, the applicant must be an active resident of that state for at least 10 years, It is nearly impossible to issue a domicile certificate without that. However, if you somehow are able to get your domicile certificate issued using your father's documents, then you can apply for MHT CET exam, otherwise not.

Yes, he'll stand eligible for MHT CET 2017 as you already have a domicile certificate and your son is residing in Maharashtra State since >10 years.
DeleteSir, Last friday , I went to apply for domiclie for my son, but Vasai Tehsil office refused for his domicile, stating that his father domicile is required becuase he is minor.
DeleteMy son will complete 18 yrs on 1st September 2017.
He has to appear for MH CET in May 2017, please let me know with out his domcile certificate can he appear in the exam.
Do we have to submit certificate along with the application form ?
Why I can't apply for domicile for my son on the basis of my domicile.
please reply
It is true that the parent's supporting domicile certificate is required for issuing a minor's domicile certificate. But in this case, you (the mother) already have a domicile certificate, so it shouldn't be a problem to issue one.
DeleteI'd suggest to contact a lawyer, maybe she'll be able to find solution to this problem.
Sir, I have already discussed with Lawyer, he has suggested to challenge this in High Court. Since I am taking care of my son in mumbai and all his marksheet from 1st std to 10th std and my domicle certificate also as supporting documents . Should I go ahead ? I dont want to keep this for last moment ie for 2017.
