AMU Medical Eligibility
This post will be discussing about the Eligibility Criteria of AMU Medical 2016 Exam.The candidates who are willing to apply for AMU MBBS / BDS Exam 2016 to get admission in medical and dental science courses in Aligarh Muslim University must follow a set of norms released by AMU Controllers.
The applications of candidates who wish to appear this exam will only be accepted when they are eligible to appear the exam. AMU Medical 2016 Eligibility Criteria will help students to identify if they are eligible for the same or not.
Aligarh Muslim University conducts this exam in order to grant seats for 145 students in MBBS program in the university.
The following are the detailed main points of AMU MBBS / BDS Eligibility Criteria.
- The student who wish to appear for the exam must be a valid Indian citizen.
- For those who are not Indian citizens or are NRIs, there will be a different examination held by AMU Controller Authorities.
- A candidate must be strictly at least 17 years old in age as on the 31st of December of the year of application.
- A candidate must not be older then 25 years old in age.
- A candidate must've secured minimum 50% of Marks in PCB as an aggregate in Class XII.
- A candidate who belongs to reserved category should score minimum 40% for the same.
- A candidate must have passed class XIIth or it's equivalent course from any state, central or other recognized board.
- A candidate who is appearing his Class XIIth on the year of application can also apply for AMU Medical Exam 2016.
- After appearing the exam, for a student to be eligible for admission / selection process he/ she must strictly scored minimum 50% Marks in AMU MBBS / BDS 2016 Entrance Exam.
- The selection process is strictly based on merit of AMU Medical Entrance Exam.
