MGIMS Wardha stands for Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Wardha which is a part of Kasturba Health Society. MGIMS Wardha 2015 is a National level Medical Entrance Exam which is a prerequisite for taking admissions in health science course such as MBBS and BDS in Government Medical Colleges under MGIMS Wardha.


MBBS entrance test, known as MGIMS Wardha PMT 2015 will be held on April 19, 2015 by the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences. MGIMS Wardha has notified the date of exam, application form submission details and PMT 2015 pattern. Themedical entrance exam will be conducted at Allahabad, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Nagpur. MGIMS Wardha MBBS 2015 admissions will be done only on the basis of merit obtained in the MBBS entrance exam

Eligibility Criteria

Highlights

  • Candidate Must be at least 17years old and born before 31st December of the year of MGIMS Wardha PMT 2015.
  • The Candidate must have passed 12th standard examination under 10+2 system of Maharashtra State Higher Secondary Education Board or equivalent examination of any recognized Board or any Indian University with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
  • The candidate must have obtained minimum 50% marks (40% in the case of SC/ ST/ VJ/ NT/ OBC) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Exam Pattern


Highlights
  • The entrance exam shall contain questions on Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Gandhian Thoughts.
  • Questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology will be Objective type MCQ questions.
  • Whereas, questions asked in Gandhian Thoughts will be Theory based/ Subjective in nature.
  • No Negative Markings will be there.

Exam Syllabus

MGIMS Wardha PMT 2015 will be based on various topics in Physics, Chemistry and Biology from Class XI as well as Class XII books. Students are advised to carefully read both Class XII and Class XI books.
40% of questions are expected from Class XI topics and the other 60% are from Class XII.
The exam will also contain a "Gandhian Thoughts" Paper which will a theory based question paper.
The Gandhain Thoughts paper will have basic questions about the thoughts and life of Mahatma Gandhi.
Along with science students are advised to buy books related to Gandhian thoughts and learn it properly.

Important Notes on MGIMS Wardha PMT

  • The fee structure in MGIMS is as applicable to the Govt. Medical Colleges in Maharashtra State. 
  • The Institute does not have any paid seats.
  • All admissions to MGIMS are strictly on Merit and therefore applicants are advised not to try and contact any outside agent or the college authorities / Personnel for seeking admission.

    Hi
    I have sent the stamped challan to the Dean by speed post. But instead of the landscape mode as specified, I've printed it in portrait mode. Is my application likely to be rejected?

      We are not sure, but minor mistakes are acceptable during the application procedure, if the authorities are satisfied with the details you have provided, they would not reject your application. Best of luck.
