AIPMT 2015 - Made a mistake in Application Form? No worries.
Hello, We've been seeing lots of queries from the applicants like
"I made mistakes while filling the AIPMT 2015 Application Form, what to do now? how should I correct them?"
The answers is:
Don't worry, you can fix them up easily!
Notice for AIPMT 2016 candidates:
This was the case in 2015, But Unfortunately AIPMT officials have now decided not to hold a correction session, thus apparently there is no way to correct mistakes you made in your application for AIPMT 2016.
The officials have not mentioned why this decision was made, but No correction will be allowed after submission of the form of AIPMT 2016.
UPDATE 2015:
AIPMT is allowing image correction like thumb impressions, signatures and photographs.
In case you've done a mistake,
email your images to: aipmt.cbse@nic.in with your registration number.

Lots of applicant made mistakes while filling application form, everybody knows this, and All India Pre Dental/ Medical Test's (AIPMT 2015) authority Central Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (CBSE). The CBSE has taken appropriate steps for this.
AIPMT 2016
AIPMT 2015 form corrections facilities may be available February. The CBSE permit the apprentices to write the test of All India Pre Medical/Pre Dental Entrance exam. Applicants are suggested that when they are applying for the exam they have to fill all requirements very carefully and fill with correct information.

AIPMT 2015 have presented an option to correct the mistakes done while applying for the Medical Entrance Exam. According to this feature a candidate can edit almost all details in the application form except the City of Centre/State Code of Eligibility/ Paper Medium/Nationality details of the candidate.
This means a candidate can apply correction for his name, father name, Reservation Details and other things. Strictly no corrections will be made for the chosen City of Centre, the State Code of Eligibility, Paper Medium and Nationality.
The correction can be made online using a form presented in the AIPMT 2015 Website.
If any candidates want to make the correction online, then they are necessary to sign in to the website.
After finishing the correction in the online application, the
applicants have to take the printout and a copy of the original form and then if required send to AIPMT Office.

Sir actually want to inform you that, I first filled up the Application form of AIPMT 2015, after that the website took me to the next page. But unfortunately my internet connection ended at that time. So at that time my form fill up was not done, but received an SMS from them in which I got my OTP and OTP ID....What should I do now to fill up the same....Reply please.......................Should I again start filling up the form from the 1st step??? DeleteDon't worry "you can fill the AIPMT 2015 Application Form again",
you'll never get a problem.
The First page only takes the details to be filled in the second page,
so nothing will be sent to AIPMT until you fill both forms and get Application Number.

There you can edit and rectify the mistakes done.

No "Penalties" are required to pay while editing the information except "Reservation Details".
DeleteThe money asked even in the reservation change is asked when there is a monetary difference in the application fees of the caste,
For Example: You'll need to pay only if you change your caste from "lower" to "higher" (like from SC to OBC/ General).
Otherwise no money is asked.

DeleteThe date part is not that sensitive, but still if your thumb impression is not well (according to you) you should re-upload better versions of them during correction session.

ReplyDeleteYes, during the correction changes ou will be allowed to make changes in academic details like marks and percentage. So then you can change the CGPA to Percentage.

I just received a message from AIPMT that said, "CLEAR PHOTO, MAIL TO AIPMT.CBSE@NIC.IN WITH YOUR REGN. NO. LATEST BY 07TH MARCH 2015"

I guess we received the messages in reverse order. Ife the 'CLEAR IMAGE' message came first then the messages make sense:- "CHECK UPLOADED IMAGES OF PHOTOGRAPH, SIGNATURE AND THUMB IMPRESSION BY LOGIN IN YOUR A/C. ReplyDeleteThe details entered in the application form are not verified until and unless you've qualified the exam. Your application will not be rejected for now.
DeleteYou can contact the authorities about the mistake as soon as you're qualified for MBBS / BDS seats under AIPMT.

DeleteSIR in amu form there was column asking about maximum marks in that i had written 99 that i got in chem but later on i came to know that in that column i have to write the sum total of all subject is there any issue of rejection of form and what shall i do know
ReplyDeleteThe Marks are used to determine if you're eligible for the exam (class XII PCB), if the marks entered was from class X, do not worry.
DeleteIn case you are a repeater and filled the form with your Class XII marks, you maybe in problem.

ReplyDeleteThe declaration form is present in PDF format, you'll have to download it and then paste your photo and add your finger prints and then scan the same and upload. there is no eed to download it in jpg format.

The date part is not sensitive. However, the coloration in the photograph can cause some implications. Since you got your admit card, you'll be allowed to appear in the exam.

I gave aipmt last year...if you dont take the photograph with you,they take a photo there at the centre...so dont worry .

Yes, they do take photographs at the center. In case you are feeling insecure, get new photographs clicked and do not stick until you consult someone at the center.

If your correction was for 'Reservation Details', there was a fee for that. Otherwise it is charge-less.

The Gender part is very much sensitive, please contact the officials. Since it is a mistake and not intentionally done, most of the time they correct it manually.

ReplyDeleteNo, now you can't do anything. The errors will remain there and reflect in the admit card too. You'll have to handle after selection problems yourself. Also, it is not a big mistake, it can be ignored.

DeleteTry using a different computer or a browser, you'll get your admit card. This problem was previously reported here and the same fixed by changing the computer / browser.
With ref to my AIPMT ONLINE REGN NO. I received an SMS from AIPMT on 03.03.2015, states that

So I sent an e-mail to AIPMT on 05.03.2015 with my all clear pictures of Photograph,Signature and Thumb Impression. But in the admit card all images are unclear. With these unclear images can I able to appear the AIPMT Exam. So kindly guide me what can I do for appearing the Exam
Did you included the AIPMT Registration number?
DeleteIf photos are very unclear (one cannot identify / verify your face using it) then it may cause problems. However it is expected that they'll allow you in the exam because AIPMT offers free photographing service at the exam centre.

Please contact the AIPMT officials and let them know about this. Since it is their mistake now, they'll have to fix it or at least give some meaningful advice.

Deletesir, while reading the information bulletin i found that the uploaded photo should have date of on or after December 2015. but i have uploaded my photo with the date of November 2015 .I have received my admit card for applying in aipmt 2015.Will there be any problem in applying the examination or will i be asked or interrogated by the center invigilators ??????????

Background color doesn't matter. You can prefer the white one because it matches the requirement.

Sir, I lost the photograph that I had used during the registration process. However the admit card says that it needs the same photograph as used for the registration process. What should I do? Will it cause trouble during the examination?
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, the examination centre has photographing service. They will take photographs of yours of appropriate sizes. Still make sure you have your photos with you (even if they are dissimilar).
DeleteSIR , I FIILED MY APPLICATION FOR MBBS IN AIPMT WITH RESERVATION AS " UNRESERVED " SINCE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE OBC NON CREAMY LAYER CERTIFICATE BEFORE THE LAST DATE FOR CORRECTION .ON 10 April 2015 IT WAS ISSUED TO ME.THEN I CONTACTED CBSE .THEY TOLD TO CONTACT MEDICAL COUNCIL OF INDIA FOR FURTHER ACTION. NOW THE AIPMT TEST ALSO HAS BEEN ATTENDED. IS MCI THE RIGHT DEPARTMENT TO UPDATE AT THIS STAGE BEFORE RELEASING THE RANK WITH MARKS? .THANKS.

You have no other option but to do as they direct. If you want your reservation you'll have to contact MCI. They are the supreme body for Medical Exams.

DeleteWe understand your concern, but now you cannot change the marks uploaded, it is best that you contact authorities and ask them to do so or at least find another solution by talking to them.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like you are entering wrong details on the page, try to remember the exact way you wrote it in the application form. If you still cannot retrieve it, check if you have the old AIPMT question paper or admit card, both of these documents have your AIPMT registration number written somewhere.
