Eligibility Criteria about Age limit / Date of Birth of a candidate

  • Candidate must be born on October 1, 1992 or later in order to qualify.
  • However, Reserved Candidates (SC/ST/PwD) will have extra 5 years, that makes them eligible if they're born on or after October 1, 1987.
  • Important Note: Only the DOB mentioned in Secondary Edu. Board / University certificate will be taken as the correct reference.

Maximum Number of Attempts

  • A candidate can technically appear for JEE Main a total of three times, however the condition remains that they are eligible at the time. (Meeting all the above criteria)

Qualifying Exam

  • The qualifying exam refers to Class XII or its equivalent examinations.

Year of Passing the Qualifying Exam

  • The qualifying exam must be cleared in 2015 or 2016. However, the students appearing for the qualifying exams (XII or its equivalent) in 2017 are also eligible to appear for JEE Main 2017.
  • Candidates must have taken the qualifying exam with at least 5 subjects.

Percentages required in qualifying exam

B.E / B.Tech5 subjects, with minimum 45% marks (For general category)
40% in case of reserved category candidates
B.Arch / B.PlanningMathematics is required, with 50% marks in total. (5 Subjects)

List of all Qualifying Exams

  • The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized central/ state Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi; etc.
  • Two-year Pre-University exam and Intermediate exam conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
  • Final exam of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
  • H.S.C. vocational exam.
  • Senior Secondary School Exam with a minimum of five subjects conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling.
  • A Diploma which is recognized by either AICTE or a state board of technical education of at least 3 year duration.
  • Any Public University/School/Board exam in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • General Certificate Education (GCE) exam (London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level. [This is only for Admission to IITs]
  • High School Certificate Exam of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva. [Only for Admission to IITs]

AMUPMDC - ASSO CET 2016 is a National level medical entrance exam. It is conducted for admissions in private colleges in Maharashtra state by Association of Management of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges, Maharashtra (AMUPMDC).

ASSO CET is conducted for admission to undergraduate (UG) courses like,

Highlights

  • Candidate must be at least 17 years old to appear for ASSO CET 2016. (born on or before 31st Dec 1999)
  • Candidate must've passed 10+2 / HSC with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum 50% marks of average marks. (If not 10+2, then its equivalent)
  • Cast reservation candidates are eligible with minimum 40% marks.
  • The candidate who is appearing for Class XIIth or equivalent exam in year 2016 is also eligible to appear for ASSO CET 2016, the candidate must fulfil the eligibility conditions nevertheless.

Syllabus for ASSO CET

ASSO CET (AMUPMDC) exams are seen to have easy questions compared to other exams, so it is advised to the students that they read the syllabus details carefully and make their preparation more efficient.

Paper will have Objective Type MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) from Class XII.

The Objective type MCQs exam will be on these subjects:
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Botany
  • Zoology
Each one will have 50 MCQs and their answers are to be filled by students in an OMR sheet.

Exam Pattern of ASSO CET

  • ASSO CET 2016 will have total 200 MCQs.
  • On every correct answer 1 mark will be credited.
 There is no negative markings in ASSO CET 2016
  • The medium of the exam will be English.
  • Paper will have 4 sections (Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry)
  • Each section will have 50 Questions.

Exam / Paper Pattern of ASSO CET 2016

ASSO CET 2016: Exam Pattern

  • There will be one question paper, containing questions of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • The questions will be from class XIIth(12th) only.
  • The question paper will have 200 MCQs, with 50 in Physics, 50 in Chemistry and 100 in Biology.
  • All 200 questions are expected to be answered by the candidates.
  • Candidate must use only a black ball pen, and should fill in a circle of right choice from four.
  • One mark will be credited for each correct answer.
  • There is no negative marking.
  • You must understand that scratching, overwriting, tick marks, use of erasers, use of whiteners or multiple answer (filling up more than one circle for an answer) will be taken as wrong answers. (However, as there is no negative marking, no marks will be deducted.)
  • Use of pencil is not allowed.

ASSO CET 2016 - Application Form

Both ASSO CET 2016 Brochure and Application Form will be available online from March 2016.

One should read the information brochure for the exam before filling the application form.

Here's a walkthrough through the application process for you to get an idea that how will it go.

How to Apply For AMUPMDC ASSO CET 2016:

  • The link to online application form for ASSO CET will be available on the official website. (We will update the post as soon as AMUPMDC makes the link live)

Application Form Filling phase:

  • First there will be instructions for the online application form filling, the students are advised to read them and then click NEXT button.
  • With that the application form for ASSO CET 2016 should be on your screen now.
  • Candidate will have to fill the application form and upload his/her scanned photograph as well as his/her signature.
  • The system will validate the information that candidate entered before allowing the submission of the form.
  • Only Eligible candidates will be able to submit.
  • There is system validation, and a provision for making changes/correcting mistakes in application form. Still candidates are advised to check and make sure that the details they have entered is correct and then click on "SUBMIT".
  • Once clicked, you cannot make changes in the form.

Payment phase:

  • Candidate will be asked for password by the system during submission. 
  • The Bank Challan will be displayed. 
  • The candidate will have to take printout the Bank Challan, and pay Rs. 3000.00/- by cash for the processing of Application form and the Examination Fee. 
  • Candidate will have to pay the fee in account of AMUPMDC from any branch of State Bank of India in the next two working days from the day of printing of the the Challan and collect the copy of Challan indicating the Journal ID / Transaction ID. 
  • A unique Application No / Username will be on the challan and the same details will be sent to the Candidate on their Email Address.

Final phase:

  • A LOG IN link will be available on the official website for AIPMT 2016.
  • Applicant will be able to login with his/her unique Application No. or Username and password to verify the application form.
  • The applicants do not have to send a copy of the application form or any other documents to the office, however he/she could take printout of the form for their personal records.
  • The applicant must be eligible under criteria mentioned in the official information brochure of associate cet 2016.
  • If any mistake was made during the application form filling, it cannot be corrected by the office, they take no responsibility for these forms.
  • The applicant will be able to take printout of their admit card for asso cet 2016 from First week of May, 2016. However the dates are tentative and may change.

  • The applicant will have to go to the exam centre with original admit card and identity card of the last attended school.
  • The applicant must only one application form. If there is a case of multiple submission of application form, the applicant will be disqualified for appearing for asso cet 2016.

ASSO CET 2016 Eligibility Criteria

Basic Eligibility Criteria

Here are the eligibility criteria which a candidate must fulfil to apply for ASSO CET 2016, which would lead them to admissions in Health Science courses.
  • The candidate can be an Indian National, an NRI or a Foreign National.
  • However, the candidate has to present proof that supports his/her nationality. Accepted forms are: 
    • 1. School leaving certificate (LC) of HSC/XIIth mentioning the nationality of the candidate as Indian
    • 2. A valid passport
    • 3. Proof from a Magistrate (District, Additional or Metropolitan)
  • For admissions to MBBS, BDS, B.Sc. Nursing, the candidate must be born on or before 31 December, 1999. Otherwise he/she will not be eligible to appear for ASSO CET 2016.
  • For admissions to BAMS, the candidate must be born on or before 1st October, 1999.
  • The SSC (Secondary School Certificate) or its equivalent exam certificate mentioning the date of birth will be considered as the valid proof.

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS & BDS

  • Minimum marks for a candidate falling into open category are 50%, that means a candidate belonging to open category must score above 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the XIIth / HSC (or equivalent) exam.
  • Candidate from Reserved Category must score not less than 40% marks in PCB in HSC (or its equivalent) exam.
  • A candidate must be born on or before 31 December, 1999 to be eligible to appear for ASSO CET 2016.
  • If a candidate is appearing for Class XII (12th) or any other qualifying exam, he/she can also appear for ASSO CET 2016, but he/she must pass the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria for Bsc. in Nursing

  • Minimum required marks for Open Category candidates is 45% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taken together in HSC or its equivalent exam.
  • For Reserved category candidates, the minimum required marks are 40% in the same.
  • Candidate must be born on or before 31 December 1999 to appear for ASSO CET 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for BAMS, BPTh, BOTh, BASLP

  • The eligibility criteria mentioned for MBBS, BDS and B.Sc. in nursing are applicable for BPTh, BOTh and BASLP.
  • Students must have passed XII or HSC or its equivalent exam.
  • BAMS candidate must be born on or before 1st October 1999.

Other Important Eligibility Details

There will be no rounding off of marks either individually in all subjects or in the final total while converting the marks of the same.
Take this for an example, if the total of the marks in three subject comes to 149 out of 300, percentage comes to 49.6 that will not qualify the candidate to appear for Associate-CET 2016.

The students appearing for qualifying exam, i.e. HSC or equivalent in March/April 2016 are also eligible for Asso-CET 2016, however they must fulfil the criteria mentioned above in the article.
